Lehigh Valley Missed Connections Gets Morning Call Treatment!

Happy Valentine’s Day. Blah blah blah.

In fun news, Morning Call Columnist Bill White featured our Lehigh Valley Missed Connections as part of his Valentine’s Day column. Which is pretty awesome.

I encourage you to read the whole article, of course, but, here’s a snippet…

He told me he had a friend who used to email him the funniest Missed Connections, and he finally decided they were worth sharing with everyone on his blog, which mostly is a collection of odd local police items spiced up with his snarky comments and links to Facebook profiles.

He thinks the Missed Connections are particularly appealing because these encounters happened at such familiar places. “I saw you at Giant. I saw you at the gym. This happened at the Wawa you go to.” SOURCE: The Morning Call

Missed Connections are great because they never get old. They are going to always be posted because well, for one you can’t ALWAYS go up to someone and for two, strangers are inherently timid when it comes to talking to people they want to possibly make out with.

If you head out to an anti-Valentine’s Day party tonight, don’t leave a Missed Connection. In FACT, with the popularity of Missed Connections now, maybe the best pick up line would be, “Listen, I don’t want to have to write about you on Missed Connections, so….”
