Tractor Trailer Loses Set of Wheels on I-78. Have Fun Heading Home

You know what’s effed up? Those tires that tractor trailers just spit out like finished bubblegum onto the road. It has to be somewhat legal since I’ve seen it happen about a million times.

Those shreds of tires are still dangerous and can totally screw up your sweet rims.

Someone should do something about that.

A tractor trailer that lost a set of wheels is causing traffic troubles on Interstate 78.

The accident happened shortly before 2 p.m. Monday, forcing state police to close the westbound lanes of I-78 in Tilden Twp., Berks Co.

Traffic is being detoured off the highway at the Lenhartsville exit and directed to follow Old Route 22 to Shartlesville. SOURCE: WFMZ.com

You know what I miss playing with? No no, not that you freak. Slot cars! I think there is a big slot car track at the Quakertown Farmers Market, but in order to play with it I’d have to go to the Quakertown Farmers Market and I’ll end up coming home with a sweater with a wolf head on it and a samuri sword.

No worries though, I’m sure that none of this will disrupt your drive home. I’m sure that Route 22 is totally equipped to handle any extra traffic that is needed.
