Boy Hit by Van, Van Takes Off, Help Find It

What would it take for you to drive away from hitting someone with your car? For real. We all have that “fight or flight” response that’s going to tell us to either get the hell out of there, or help the person you hit.

Are you in trouble? Depending on the circumstances, probably, but you’re in much less trouble than when they find your ass…

A pedestrian was hit by a white minivan tonight in the 700 block of Maple Street in Bethlehem, city police say.

The van drove off after the 10:03 p.m. crash, police say, and it is believed to have a cracked windshield.

A police news release did not indicate the pedestrian’s injuries or condition.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact Bethlehem police at 610-865-7187. SOURCE: The Express-Times

A friend of the family of thw boy who was hit sent us this: “He is in really bad shape-had emergency surgery on his femur-which was broken in four places, and is awaiting to undergo many more surgeries.”

Also, the victims mother reported the van was grey, not white.

Either way, someone HAS to have seen this van and its cracked windshield.

Dude, if I run over a squirrel I try to find its next of kin. WTF people?
