Police Arrest Car Thief at AA Meeting (Lebanese Warlord)

Those at AA meetings are there to probably feel safe and find solace within each other.

However, just because you go there doesn’t mean you can’t get arrested while you’re there.

Easton police entered an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting inside a city church Saturday morning to arrest a man accused of having a stolen car.

The man, Brian Michael Mulrooney, 23, of Phillipsburg resisted arrest and at one point head-butted an officer in the back of his head, court records say.

Police spotted the stolen Chevrolet Lumina with New Jersey license plates on the unit block of N. 12th Street and entered the church at 1151 Northampton St. around 10:40am. SOURCE: Easton Patch

One time, in college, we stole our roommate’s skateboard.

It was all funny because he was from Lebanon, so he kept asking for his skateboard in his Lebanese accent.

I’m not sure if he finally got his skateboard back, but, cmon, the guy was like 6’6” and kinda portly. He wasn’t going to be riding that thing.

Then, about eight years later, we found out he was the son of some Lebanese politician/warlord. We’re still Facebook buddies. He asks me to visit him in the Middle East every now and then…
