Pepper Spray Store Donates UV Flashlights with Super Funny Picture
The Pepper Spray Store is located in Main Street Commons in Bethlehem, by the Brew Works, underneath Girlfriends, by the Home Brew place.
It fits a niche and we hope they do well.
In addition to selling their wares, however, they are also donating UV lights to police officers and released an awesomely unintentionally hilarious photo along with it.
Jane George-Lauver, who owns the Pepper Spray Store in Bethlehem’s Main Street Commons with her husband Nelson, is donating ultraviolet flashlights to some local police forces.
The small lights can find traces of pepper spray that carry an ultraviolet tracking dye. Not all pepper sprays include the dye, but George-Lauver said many manufacturers have begun using it and all but one model in her store now contains the chemical additive. SOURCE: The Express-Times
I remember watching some Dateline type show about 15 years ago and they went into hotel rooms with black lights and started pulling back the comforter and sheets and there was man seed everywhere. It freaked me out and the first thing I did for years when I got into a hotel room was to throw the comforter on the other side of the room so that I could sleep with some sort of inner peace.
Oh man, this guy. This guy makes my day. I should be looking for his Missed Connection any day now…
Oh, also, I remember how we used to draw with laundry detergent on the walls and then when you turned on the blacklight it would glow. I miss the 90s.
