Drunk Man Saunters Into Police Station, Turns Himself In

Sometimes you know when your beat. And, during those times, it takes a bigger man to just admit it rather than make themselves look pathetic by holding in.

This guy… This guy, on the other hand, should have just called a cab.

A 50-year-old man turned himself in to Bethlehem police early Saturday because he was too intoxicated, police said.

James Vangorden, of Bethlehem, went to police headquarters at 1:11 a.m. Saturday and told police he was there to “turn himself in,” Bethlehem police said. Police said they weren’t looking for Vangorden and found no warrants on him, police said. SOURCE: The Morning Call

Turns out the guy had a BAC of .314, which, by my calculations, is approximately one million times more than the legal limit.

He was charged with public drunkenness. And, with that much booze in him, he should be thankful for.

I have always wondered what my highest BAC was of all-time. I’m assuming it was at that college basement party where everyone had their own beer bongs and Sharpie markers and I’m pretty sure I tasted Jäger for the first time. God days.
