Drunk Wife Wrecks Car, Drunk Husband Drives Drunk Wife Back to Accident Site

It goes without saying that we hope everyone drives safely this holiday season, but we’ll say it anyway: Don’t drink and drive over the holidays.

If you do drive drunk and wreck your car and are thankfully unhurt and you didn’t kill anyone else like an idiot, please don’t get your drunk husband to drive you back to the accident scene.

A husband and wife were each arrested on suspicion of drunken driving Dec. 14 after she crashed in Weisenberg Township, Pennsylvania State Police report.

Vanessa Budhun, 35, of Emmaus, was headed west at 3:16 a.m. on Interstate 78 when she drove her 2004 Mazda 3 into a guardrail near the Exit 45 ramp, police said.

At some point, she left the crash site and husband Vijai Budhun, 31, of Upper Macungie Township, was enlisted to drive her back there. A trooper stopped him near the highway exit and determined he’d been drinking, prompting his arrest, police said. SOURCE: The Express-Times

That is the closest someone’s name will ever be to “vajay” that you will probably ever find.

Read the article to find out more about why this wasn’t a big surprise. (Spoiler: She was arrested for attempted homicide previously.)

The odds of the end of the world coming in the next few days are rather slim, so, let’s plan at least a bit for the future. Even the Mayans didn’t let friends drive their… what did Mayans drive? Well whatever they …. you know what? Nevermind. I bet the Mayans drove stuff drunk all the time.
