There are 5,039 Rich People in Lehigh Valley

imageI don’t chide rich people and I’m not sure they need to give a ton more. I mean, why get punished just because you are rich?

There should maybe be like a “How did you get rich?” factor where people who were born rich have to pay more taxes but people who became rich because they invented Silly Bandz can just stay in whatever bracket they were in originally.

Well, anyway, according to Obama’s proposed tax rate thingy thing there are 5,039 rich people in Lehigh Valley who live in castles and never pay taxes and probably hate homeless people and never give to charity*.

*This is all probably untrue.

If President Barack Obama has his way and income taxes are increased only on the wealthy in 2013, about 5,000 Lehigh Valley taxpayers will likely have to pay more to Uncle Sam.

The White House has proposed increasing income taxes on single tax filers who report more than $200,000, or married taxpayers who report more than $250,000 in adjusted gross income on their federal tax returns. The Internal Revenue Service doesn’t report how many live in the Lehigh Valley. SOURCE: The Morning Call

You know there are a bunch of people making $199,000 who are like, “Yeah, I’m cool. I don’t need that raise.”

I think churches should have to pay more taxes. They are always taking money from people in those baskets. Where’s it going? HMMMM? Fix some potholes!

I wonder what area has the most rich people in it in Lehigh Valley. Saucon Valley?

Who is the richest person in Lehigh Valley? Linny Fowler
