Man Pushes Stepdaughter on Glass Riddled Table After She Won’t Help Seizure Victim

The holiday season seems to bring out the crazy in people.

Sure, it’s only the first week of December, but, you just wait. A whole year full of stress comes to a boil during this month. Bills get tight. Problems that have been sitting on the back burner come to the fore.

This is just a taste of things to come.

A man was arrested for injuring his stepdaughter by throwing her across a table that had broken glass on it, officials said.

Gary N. Weekes attacked the 16-year-old girl after an argument in their home in the 1300 block of Wayne St., Easton, at about 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.

Weekes became angry during dinner because his stepdaughter did not help another girl in the home who was having a seizure and fell down the steps, officials said.

After confronting his stepdaughter, Weekes pushed her in the face and she fell against a wall, officials said, adding that after the girl took a swing at Weekes, he held her against a table, which caused a vase on the table to break.

Weekes threw the girl across the glass-strewn table and then grabbed her by the neck, causing cuts to the girl’s left temple and thumb and scratches on her back, officials said. SOURCE: WFMZ.com

This sounds like it would make for a great episode of “Family Matters.” I could see Carl getting all pissed at Laura because Judy had a seizure and fell down the steps and they got in a tussle and then Steve Urkel swings in and is like, “Did I dooo thattt?”

Why they don’t have yearly reuinions for all the TGIF shows from the mid-1990s I will never know.
