Woman Punches Officer in Face While Man is Doing Sobriety Test

Minding your own business is usually a good idea when the cops are around.

You see, if you’re interfering with them doing their job, they get all upset about that and end up arresting you because you punched them in the face.

I could only imagine this scene. Why can’t we have video cameras everywhere? Privacy is overrated.

A woman was arrested after assaulting a police officer who was trying to disperse a group of women who had gathered while a man was being given a field sobriety test, officials said.

Barbara Cintron-Santiago refused Ofc. Louis D. Csaszar’s order to leave the 200 block of East 3rd Street in Bethlehem at 3 a.m. Saturday, and when Csaszar grabbed her by the arm to place her under arrest, she punched him in the face and head several times with a closed fist, officials said.

I just don’t get people’s thought processes sometimes. Let’s just assume that the man who was being given the field sobriety test was this lady’s boyfriend. Ok. So, she has a rooting interest for him to pass the test. Why not just let him take the test?

Why not? Because, in her mind, she feels as though she can somehow alter the outcome by just being loud and out of control. See, it’s probably worked for her in the past in some situations and, she figures, why not use it here?

Well, because … the police.
