Robber on Bicycle Leaves Tracks for Cops

I am literally on a plane right now flying over Texas. How about that?

In other news that you actually care about, if you are going to robinate a plac, it’s best to use a Segway. I mean, who is going to suspect the guy on a Segway? Ether that or wear really skimpy running shorts. No one will talk to you let alone arrest you.

Tariq Jackson, 22, of the 2300 block of Jamie Court in Forks Township, was charged Thursday night with the armed robbery early that morning of Chubby’s convenience store at 2100 Sullivan Trail, township police report this morning in a news release.

Police were called at 4:47 a.m. after Jackson, wearing a mask, maroon jacket and blue and yellow gloves, entered the store as the clerk opened, police said. Jackson pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded the cash register be opened, police said. He also took the clerk’s wallet, police said.

Jackson rode away on a bicycle with about $500 cash, cigars and the clerk’s credit cards, police said.

Township detectives followed tracks left behind by the bicycle to 2305 Jamie Court, a couple of blocks east of the store, police said. A bicycle was visible at the back of the home, police said.

Surveillance tapes led to Jackson’s identification, police said. He had been in the store dressed the same way — including wearing the mask as a hat — the night before, they said.

Township police, assisted by Pennsylvania State Police Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at the home and Jackson was arrested after a standoff, police and neighbors said.

The weapon, clothes and the clerk’s wallet containing credit cards were found in the home, police said. SOURCE: The Express-Times

Chubby’s convenience store? Did I not know this place existed? How are they not running promotions where you can get a “half chubby” special sandwich and coffee before 8 a.m.?

C’mon people, I can’t hold all of your hands.
