Ahh, regrets. Like fading sunburns on our bums, some decisions seem a bit hasty in hindsight.
Woah, “hindsight”? I didn’t even plan that. I’m on the ball today.
Ok, so, this lady stabbed her boyfriend this past summer after he slapped her sunburned butt.
She got arrested because, well, stabbing.
The Bethlehem woman accused of stabbing her then-boyfriend after he slapped her sunburned buttocks conceded this morning there was sufficient evidence to send the case to Northampton County Court.
Tiffany Sherry, 24, of the 900 block of Wyandotte Street, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before District Judge Nancy Matos Gonzalez. The case potentially faces trial.
James Connell, the attorney for Sherry, said he is in talks with the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office to work out a plea agreement.
“We’re doing out best to work this matter out at the time of the arraignment or prior to that,” Connell said.
Sherry is alleged to have stabbed Michael Martinez with a large steak knife after he slapped her behind while she was doing dishes on Aug. 6. Sherry reportedly had been sunburned on her buttocks and grew angry with Martinez.
Seems like a well-thought out response.
Court records say Martinez backed into another room and asked Sherry, “What are you going to do? Stab me in front of the kids?”
Never call a woman’s bluff, buddy.
Authorities say Sherry ordered the children from the room and proceeded to assault Martinez, poking him in the stomach with the knife and then stabbing him in the right shoulder as he tried to flee. SOURCE: The Express-Times
Hey, at least she got the kids out of the room. It was very nice of her. That way, they didn’t have to deal with the actual sight of her stabbing him, they just had to deal with the aftermath and counseling that they’ll inevitably need down the road.
I would hate to see what this lady does after she stubs her toe!
