Phillipsburg Students Eat Pot Brownies, School Sends Letter Home (WE GOT IT)

What’s with people eating their marijuana lately? Yesterday, some guy ate some marijuana from his butt and now New Jersey kids are eating chocolate chip marijuana cookies. 

Thankfully, they were removed from school and parents were given some quality information.

Several high school students were taken to the hospital after they were reported to have eaten cookies laced with marijuana.

Philliipsburg Police report being called to Phillipsburg High School Thursday afternoon for a student who was in an “altered mental state.”

It was discovered, police said, that the student, and others, ate cookies laced with marijuana.

The students were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, Warren Campus.  There is no word on any of the students’ conditions at this time. 

Parents of Phillipsburg students have been made aware of the incident, police said.  They’ve been told what to watch for and what to do if their children become ill.

Dear Phillipsburg High School Parent,

As you may have heard, a few students ingested cookies that were laced with marijuana. These students were removed from the school and were treated at a local hospital. While we feel that this is an isolated incident, we wanted to pass along a few warning signs to look for in your own child to determine if they, too, have ingested any “pot cookies.”

1. They are laughing at your jokes. Uncontrollably, really.

2. They show an interest in music that you like, in fact, they may actually ask you if you’ve ever heard of “vinyl records.”

3.  They eat all of your pecan ice cream, even though all teenagers hate pecan ice cream.

4. They watch a whole episode of NCIS with you, but they keep snickering to themselves the whole time.

5. They start to ask you about your thoughts on politics.

If you notice any of these signs in your child, please contact your local hospital immediately so that you can bring them into the ER and the nurses can get a really good laugh for once. Because their jobs are kinda tough.
