So, basically, this is what these teens were doing until a cop came along and gave them enough invisible rope to hang themselves with.
A group of guys bent on pranking passing vehicles Sept. 23 on Meadow Road in Lower Saucon Township gave the same treatment to an approaching police vehicle arriving to investigate their conduct, resulting in disorderly conduct charges for two of the people.
Three males — two adults and a juvenile — allegedly jumped in front of vehicles Sept. 23 on Meadows Road in Lower Saucon Township, at one point pretending to pull a rope across the road as a police officer approached.
Zachary Apollini, 23, Jeremy Grow, 18, (FACEBOOK PROFILE) no addresses provided, and a unidentified juvenile male were jumping in front of passing cars about 10:53 p.m. Sept. 23 on Meadow Road near the bridge, according to police.
Police were called to the area, but the suspects didn’t stop their antics, authorities say. Instead, as the patrol car neared the trio, police say they began pulling an invisible rope across the road until they realized the victim in their prank was a police officer, authorities report.
Appollini and Grow were issued citations for disorderly conduct and the juvenile was released to his father, police say. SOURCE: The Express-Times
Ok, ok. So, jumping in front of a car is pretty stupid and a bad idea. But, the invisible rope? Cmon, that’s kinda funny, no?
I mean, you’re slowing cars down. Ugh. I GUESS it could result in an accident, but it’s not just a prank, it’s also a mind trick! Crazy!
I’d love to have seen the picture of when they realized it was a cop and they both dropped the invisible rope they were holding…
