Man Found Dancing in Sam’s Club Parking Lot After Setting Off Two Gas Station Alarms

There was a small gas station by my house where I grew up.

It was one of the gas stations that had those hoses where, if a car drove over it, the bell would sound.

So, we’d always run by there and jump on top of the hose until the guys from the back came out to take care of the car they thought had just turned up.

But, it was just us pesky kids! We’d be far enough away that they couldn’t catch us but they’d shake their greasy fists and be like, “I know your dad you effing moron!”

Those gas station dudes hated us.

An Allentown man who set off two alarms at a Sam’s Club gas station in Lehigh County last Tuesday night was found dancing in the parking lot by authorities who responded, state police said.

Regis A. Burley, 29, is to be cited by summons for disorderly conduct for tripping a gas-pump alarm, then a burglar alarm at the fueling area’s kiosk, police said.

Before troopers arrived, Burley was observed by fire officials and a Hanover Township code enforcement officer dancing around the lot at 901 Airport Center Drive, police said.

He was lying on his back in a parking stall when police said they got there.

A friend of Burley’s came and drove him home, police said. SOURCE: The Morning Call

So, they let him go home with his friend? Was he not super intoxicated then? I’m pretty sure if you set off a burglar alarm, they get pretty mad at you.

In any event, when’s the last time you hit all the elevator buttons right before you got off? If you can’t remember, it’s been too long.
