Robbers Flee to Strip Club, Get Arrested
Robbing someone is the ultimate middle finger.
While I have never been robbed, it must be pretty emasculating and, wells, robby. You lose your stuff. Have you ever tried to get a replacement social security card? Have you?
Two Quakertown men on a motorcycle wearing ski masks and armed with a gun robbed a 24-year-old man of about $50 in Upper Saucon Township early Thursday and fled to a nearby strip club, according to police.
But they didn’t have much time to spend money.
Police located Philip S. Zampirri, 26, and Brian G. Lopez, 21, both of Juniper Street, inside the Silhouettes Showbar on E. Station Ave. in Coopersburg shortly after the 12:20 a.m. robbery.
Upper Saucon Township police Cpl. Michael Fritz said they robbed a 24-year-old man as he was getting out his vehicle in the parking lot of the Peppercorn Pub at Route 309 and Passer Road, which is about 11/2 miles north of Silhouettes.
The victim, who was not injured, saw them head south on Route 309 and another witness saw them turn left onto E. Station Avenue toward Silhouettes, Fritz said.
Zampirri and Lopez, who are neighbors, were taken into custody at the bar. They were being held in the township police station Thursday morning awaiting to be arraigned on charges of armed robbery, criminal conspiracy to commit armed robbery, theft and simple assault. SOURCE: The Morning Call
I’m not a big strip club guy, I just don’t see the point. If you really want girly things, why not take that stolen money and purchase a companion for the evening?
Or, get some hoagies at Wawa. Is there anything WORSE to spend your robbery on than strippers?
