Easton Man Stole Jewelry with Paperclip (FACEBOOK PROFILE)

My friend, Missile, once used a safety pin to poke around at some dollar bills in the Ronald McDonald House donation box as we were at a McDonald’s counter.

He was just, basically, seeing what he could do with a safety pin for some reason, but the McDonald’s counter associate came up and was like, “You’re really stealing dollar bills from children?”

Actually, she said “Would you like a value meal? Please don’t steal stuff from kids with cancer.”

That’s pretty verbatim.

An Easton man was jailed Tuesday for allegedly using a paperclip to steal three pairs of earrings from a Palmer Township store.

According to court records, a security officer at the Boscov’s at the Palmer Park Mall caught Justin Starr (FACEBOOK PROFILE) using an unbent paperclip to steal the earrings from the store’s jewelry case.

Starr, 29, of 119 S. Seventh St., took three pairs of 14-karat gold earrings valued at $270, police say.

He arraigned before District Judge Daniel Corpora on a retail theft charge and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $1,000 bail. SOURCE: Easton Patch

Weird.

I know in movies the bad guys want to steal jewels and such, but, then they have to cash them in somewhere. Same thing with stealing a painting. Wayyyy too much work AFTER the heist. Just go for straight up cash, homey.

Nice hat.
