Man Gropes Lady on “Hang Time” Ride at Dorney Park

There’s nothing more comforting than being able to hold on to that special someone when you’re on a scary ride at an amusement park.

When I’m on the tilt-a-whirl I’m all, “Get your hips into it! We’re never going to be able to do three straight revolutions on these things if you’re not properly leaning into the teacup!”

Seriously, though, timing the spin of the  tilt-a-whirl ride may seem pretty petty to you, but when you get it JUST right and you’re spinning around and around and no one else is moving, for that five seconds, you’re an amusement park god.

A 29-year-old man was charged with groping a woman on a ride at Dorney Park on Friday, according to court records.

Luis F. Gutierrez, of Puerto Rico, allegedly placed his hand in between the legs of a woman while they were on the Hang Time ride at the South Whitehall Township water park, according to court records. He kept his hands between her legs until the ride was over, police said.

The victim’s sisters were on the ride and witnessed the incident, police said. SOURCE: The Morning Call

Hang Time, if you’re not familiar, is the ride in the picture up there. It’s usually the one that little kids cut their teeth on before moving onto scarier rides, so, it definitely serves a purpose. Also, it’s one of the only rides that actually gives me a stomach ache. And, if I was this lady, I’d probably have more than a stomach ache.
