Man Punches Girlfriend in Face, Injures Baby, Over Spilled Nail Polish

Ah, nothing like beating the woman that you call your girlfriend because she spilled something on the floor.

Now, if I thought this guy had some sort of Persian rug, I could understand him being somewhat upset, however, I’m pretty sure his choice of floor covering is a little bit less refined.

An Allentown man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly punched his girlfriend and injured their baby following an argument over spilled nail polish.

Ernesto Charlie Carranza, of the first block of North Madison Street, and Kavonna Brodsky argued at about 12:30 p.m. after nail polish dripped on the floor of their home, court records say.

Carranza, 21, was carrying the couple’s 4-month-old child on his hip as he repeatedly sought to hit Brodsky in the face, records say. Brodsky pushed Carranza away, but he ultimately punched her in the chest and face, causing redness and swelling, records say.

Ok, seriously? What the hell is wrong with you?

Brodsky attempted to take their daughter from Carranza, who put the baby on the bed and left after his girlfriend told him she planned to call police, records say. Before leaving, Carranza told Brodsky, “You hit yourself in the chest,” records say.

An officer observed redness and swelling on the baby’s lower right leg, but records don’t say how the the injury occurred. SOURCE: The Express-Times

“Yes, 911? I am calling because I hit myself in the chest after I spilled some nail polish on the floor and, oh, I also injured my kid.”

People like THIS are what’s wrong with the world. We can all fight about politics or disagree about religion or even get mad over each other about what cities we prefer to live in, but, THIS is something that cannot be tolerated and needs to be dealt with.

If you’re hitting women, for any reason, you need to be punished accordingly and understand that you don’t necessarily deserve anything that you have in life at the moment. You’re lucky to have it. You’re lucky that someone even took the time to think that for a minute they loved you enough to call you their boyfriend and have a kid with you.

Honestly disgusting. Do not stand for this crap :(
