Pit Bull with Broken Leg Found Chained to Trailer in Lower Saucon (WTF?)
Ok, enough already. Yesterday we had TWO cases of dog abuse. One was a dog being thrown from a car and the other was a man punching a dog because it may or may not have eaten his food.
NOW, police report that they have found a dog with a broken freakin’ leg chained to a trailer.
Seriously, enough. This isn’t funny. This isn’t how you treat garbage, let alone a living being.
If you can’t take care of these animals, there are HUNDREDS of people locally, if not thousands, who will be willing to help you and take a dog off your hands, even if they can just foster it for a few weeks.
WTF?
I’m seriously mad right now.
A pit bull with a broken leg was found abandoned and chained to a trailer Tuesday morning, Lower Saucon police said.
Police said around 6:30 a.m., a resident of a Kohler Driver apartment complex found the dog and called police. The dog’s left, rear leg is broken and police hope to find the owner, said police Cpl. Tim Connell.
“It’s kind of disturbing that someone can just dump this dog on the side of the road with a broken leg,” Connell said.
The dog is friendly and appears to be about a year old, Connell said. He is brown with a white stripe on his snout. SOURCE: The Morning Call
Break the owner’s leg. Chain him to a trailer. See how he likes it.
The great thing about pets, and even some misbehaved children, is that if you don’t want them anymore or can’t care for them anymore, you can find someone who will do that for you. Most of the time you can even find that for free if you’re desperate.
Quit being douchebags. There are few things that will incite the furor of an entire female (and most male) population and animal abuse is one of them.
Don’t forget, Musikfest starts Friday and we have tons of prizes to give away in the Musikfest Photo Scavenger Hunt. All you need is a camera.
