Nazareth School District to Get Rid of Baggy Pants?

We all have our different clothing styles. Some are just stupider than others. If you really want to wear baggy pants, whatever, go for it. My only problem is that I see kids with their boxer shorts hanging out and their pants on below their butt cheeks and THEY HAVE BELTS ON.

What’s the point of a perfectly usable belt if you’re just going to adjust it around your ass? Besides, where does it buckle in the front? If it is buckling where I THINK it is buckling then that can’t really be that comfortable.

On a side note, if you’re wearing baggy pants while doing any sort of criminal activity, you’re an idiot. Baggy pants are the least effective clothes to wear when trying to outrun any one. You look like an old man trying to catch a bus while holding a hot cup of coffee.

The Nazareth Area School Board plans to survey all neighboring school districts to determine if a universal dress code is the right move for the district.

District officials decided to compare its dress code to all the districts in Northampton, Monroe and Pike counties in the coming weeks after board member Chris Miller proposed Monday night a universal dress code for all six district schools.

Each of the elementary, intermediate, middle and high schools has its own separate policy.

Miller said in a previous interview he feels better attire will give students a confidence boost, which will lead to better test scores. He disapproves of boys wearing low, baggie pants, T-shirts with inappropriate sayings and rayon shorts. Girls, he said, wear revealing clothing and shirts with sayings. Both wear pajama pants, sweats and flip- flops.

“I don’t know how well the dress code in Nazareth is watched, but I find this a very negative dress code,” Miller told the public during Monday night’s board meeting.

Miller cited a magazine article that discussed a college graduate with good credentials not getting a job at a company because his shoes were unlaced. He said when he went to pick up his grandson at Nazareth Area Middle School, he saw a freshman girl wearing inappropriate shorts. SOURCE: The Express-Times

1. Who reads magazines?

2. If you’re going into a job interview and don’t lace your shoes, you certainly don’t deserve to get that job. “Good credentials” should also include, “Knowing how to tie your shoes, jackass.”

Also, all men should have at least one suit. You don’t need a ton, you just need one. Save it for when you need it and wear it when you have to. Why? Because that’s just how crap works.

Sometimes you need to do things that you don’t agree with in order to get things that you want.

And, yes, this can suck if you hate wearing ties and don’t like tying your shoes. But, you know what else is cool? Having some money so that you can buy Xbox games.
