Teens Who Robbed Bethlehem Convenience Stores Charged with Allentown Robberies, Too
if you haven’t seen the comments on the first post on these stupid teens who robbed convenience stores with fake knives for the thrill of it, I suggest you do so first.
Basically, “friends” and family members of some of the alleged robbers basically said that they only made “mistakes” and that we shouldn’t judge them and that it’s none of our businesses and that they are just being teens going through growing up.
And, sigh, if they REALLY believe that then… I hope they don’t have children because… I don’t even know. Here is some more stuff that they can rationalize. Turns out they are going to be charged with even more robberies.
Four teens who told police they committed a string of armed robberies in Bethlehem and Palmer “for the money and the thrill” now face additional charges for holdups in Allentown, according to court records.
Charges were filed Monday against the teens for robberies July 14 and July 15 in Allentown, according to court records. On Monday afternoon, Allentown police said the four teens were still in the process of being arraigned.
While Allentown police Capt. Stephen Mould declined to identify three of the suspects because they are only 17, he said three teens and Luis Enrique Ortiz, 19, are charged in two holdups in the city. Court records identify the other teens involved as Ashley Horning, Ashley Eskaff and Isaiah Baker, all 17.
Mould gave the following details of the robberies:
The first robbery happened at 5:15 a.m. July 15 at Patel Food Market, 1227 Airport Road. Police said the clerk was shot twice in the shoulder with a pellet gun during the holdup. Police said Ortiz and a teen stole a hookah pipe from the store.
The second holdup happened at 1:25 a.m. at the 7-Eleven at 1302 Hanover Ave. In that robbery, police would only say an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes were stolen.
The injured clerk is recovering from his injuries, Mould said.
According to court records, the teens stole an estimated $5,600 worth of cash and cigarettes from four Bethlehem convenience stores and a car wash inPalmer Township.
All four are in Northampton County Prison under $100,000 bail each, according to court records. SOURCE: The Morning Call
Oh, silly kids will just be silly kids!
Or, they are the kind of people who belong behind bars and we’re very glad that they get to sit there for a long time.
If you’re going to make mistakes, they shouldn’t included terrorizing people by robbing them.
Making a mistake is rear ending a car.
