Easton Man Shows His Weiner to Bangor Swimmers

Flashers seem to be a dying breed. Ahh, the days when one could rock their trench coat, socks, shoes and nothing else on a humid summer evening.

No, but, seriously, what am I missing about the whole “flashing” thing? Doesn’t seem like you get much out of it other than people laughing at you… or running from you… or calling the cops.

A 20-year-old Easton man exposed himself at the Bangor Memorial Park swimming pool Friday and threatened to assault the lifeguards who kicked him out, police said.

Devin C. Salas of 1127 W. Berwick St. was “flashing” the public about 5:30 p.m. Friday when the head lifeguard confronted him, police said. Salas threatened to punch the lifeguard in the face and then threatened two other lifeguards who helped escort Salas out of the pool area, police said.

The lifeguards called police when Salas climbed a fence to re-enter the pool area. Police charged Salas with disorderly conduct, harassment and defiant trespass. SOURCE: The Morning Call

Woah…woah…wait. I hope he didn’t climb this fence with his dong out. That is one of the most dangerous things one can ever do. Ever. Eek. I have to go get a Tetanus shot just thinking about it.

In any event, I guess I am happy there aren’t a lot of flashers out and about like there seemed to be when I was a kid. I say “seemed to be” because any time we ever went to Scranton or Wilkes-Barre someone would always tell us to watch out for the flashers. Ahh. Memories.
