Easton Police Freak Out Neighborhood with Fake SWAT Raid (NICE JOB!)

I get a Facebook notification this morning and notice that that my name is tagged by my friend regarding a SWAT raid in the College Hill section of Easton.

My friend just figured I should know that there was another SWAT raid going on in Easton.

So, I yawned and looked around for something that wasn’t so mundane as another police raid in Easton and, I found it!

The SWAT raid wasn’t real and the police were just filming a training video.

Good call, idiots.

Easton police dressed in full tactical gear were shooting a training video this morning at a house on College Hill, police said.

A handful of police officers in SWAT gear about 11:30 were filming a raid scene at a house in the first block of College Avenue, an officer said. No real operations were taking place, he said. A police cruiser and armored vehicle are parked nearby.

The activity caught the attention of drivers on the road, some of them slowing down to try to see what was happening. SOURCE: The Express-Times

Would it be THAT hard to set someone out on the sidewalk with a sign that says, “Hey, we’re just filming a video, don’t freak out everyone. We know you have kids who play outside and such during the summer.”

Nope, eff that. Why not just freak out an entire neighborhood and make them feel as though they are possibly in harm’s way?

This video better be good. Who’s directing?

(Note, that is not a picture from this specific raid. My friend who told me about it wasn’t cool enough to take any for me. :( WTF? ALWAYS GET EVIDENCE!)
