What’s the furthest you’ve ever fallen? The more I think about it, I’m not sure.
I mean, technically I’ve fallen from about 30-40 feet from the side of a cliff, but that was on the way into Lake Wallenpaupack, so, that doesn’t really count.
I guess I’d have to say probably no higher than 10 feet. But, that’s about as far as you’d want to jump to hit the ground, no?
An Allentown man punched his pregnant girlfriend twice in the stomach and tried to throw her out of a three-story apartment building as her two young daughters screamed and cried, police said.
Marion Sharp, 32, threatened to kill Jacqueline Figueroa several times in front of her children early Monday, according to court records.
She escaped from the apartment at 237 N. 11th St. with her children and hid in a park, then walked to the hospital for treatment, police said.
Allentown police were dispatched around 6 a.m. to Lehigh Valley Hospital at 17th and Chew streets to handle the assault investigation.
Figueroa, who is 12 weeks pregnant, told police Sharp first choked her and threatened her in the N. 11th Street apartment, then punched her twice in the stomach and threw her to the floor.
Sharp tried several times to throw her out of an open, third-floor window, but Figueroa broke free and fled with her daughters, ages 8 and 5. The girls screamed and cried the entire time, Figueroa told police, and Sharp also acted as if he were going to punch them. SOURCE: The Morning Call
I can understand getting really mad and threatening to hit someone or something, but when you’re about ready to toss someone to their death, you may have reached the nexus of your douchebaggery stage.
