Crappy Family Steals Bowling Shoes and Bowling Games at Town and Country Lanes
I have a touch of hipster in me, but I always have. That’s what she said, or something. Anyway, I love bowling shoes and would wear them all the time if the bottoms weren’t super slick and all slidey-aroundy.
They are just designed super cool. They have a 1950’s sensibility while also shouting, “Hey! I’m super cool. Look at me and the questionable fashion decisions I like to make!”
If I was going to get some bowling shoes, or look alike bowling shoes with actual sneaker bottoms, I’d pay for them. Because, that’s what cool people do.
Also, in an effort to not start my children down the path of being career criminals, I would also pay for any bowling event that I brought them to.
Authorities say a family of seven played three games of bowling and left a Bethlehem bowling alley without any making payment Sunday evening.
The family of three adults and four children had come Sunday evening to Town and Country Bowling Lanes, 1770 Stefko Blvd., and played through three games before leaving about 4:30 p.m., according to police. Authorities say the family also stole the six pairs of rented bowling shoes they used for the games.
The bowling alley lost $292.50 from the theft, according to authorities. SOURCE: The Express-Times
Think about this for a second. A family, ostensibly headed by a mother and father, made the conscious decision to have their children walk out of the bowling alley not only without paying, but while also stealing the shoes they had rented.
Now, no one is going to confuse Town and Country lanes with a classy establishment, but, still, have a modicum of respect scumbags.
Our bowling rates are going to go up because of this! WTF?
If you see a family wearing a bunch of bowling shoes, do the right thing people.
