Mom Stabs Daughter in Neck Over Dirty Dishes (FACEBOOK PROFILES)

The dishes in my place are amazing. One day, the whole sink is super clean and then, like one day later, it’s overflowing with utensils I didn’t even know I had.

When the hell did I use a cheese grater and an ice cream scoop and a broccoli steamer thingy magiger? Have you ever tried to CLEAN one of those things by hand? Impossible. 

I think I’m going to hire a teenager to do all my dishes this summer as an internship for the real world.

A 43-year-old Bethlehem woman stabbed her daughter with a shard from a broken plate early this morning after the two began arguing over dirty dishes, according to police.

Maria DiLorenzo (FACEBOOK PROFILE), of the first block of East Washington Avenue in Bethlehem, allegedly stabbed Veronica DiLorenzo, 22, in the neck with the broken piece of the plate about midnight in their home.

Police say the DiLorenzoes were in a dispute over dirty dishes when it turned physical. Other family members tried to intervene, but the mother and daughter continued to shove one another, police say.

The argument intensified when Maria DiLorenzo grabbed a shard from a plate broken in the fight and started swinging it wildly, according to police. The daughter was cut by the shard, resulting in an approximately 2-inch laceration to her neck, just below her right ear, police say.

You know what else is a bitch to wash by hand? Those food processors. They are sharp! I mean, sure they are blades and all, but they don’t exactly make them easy to clean, they are all spindled in there in a tight little razor coil that you cut yourself on when you try to get bits of celery out.
