Lying Newspapers are Doomed (oh and couple beats up mom in easton)

So, wow, I never thought that I’d give too much about newspaper politics, but after being deliberately snubbed by the Express-Times and not being included in their top 25 twitter leaders in the Lehigh Valley, I’m not too happy.

Fuck this. Bullshit. You can’t just MAKE up facts and figures and gloss over the ones you don’t want to list. You’re a fucking newspaper. You don’t get to do that. No wonder people aren’t buying these fucking things anymore… it’s not truth, it’s all manipulated crap that they just want to force down your eyeballs so they can get used car places to pay their electric bills.

Whatever. My rant is over. I don’t need to placate.

In other news, um, I don’t really know what kosher means, but I’m pretty sure it means you don’t beat up a mom in front of her daughters on the street, natch?

A husband and wife have been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly beating a woman in Easton.

Laurie Young was near the intersection of North 11th and Spring Garden streets about 3 p.m. Thursday when Tamara Lynete Winger, 28, of the 1100 block of Bushkill Street, started yelling vulgar names at her and her daughters, according to court documents.

Winger’s husband, Anthony, 35, tried to hold her back, according to witnesses, but she broke loose from his hold and grabbed Young’s head and threw her to the ground, documents say. Tamara Winger allegedly kicked Young in the head while Anthony Winger allegedly kneed her in the stomach. Source

WTF? 3 p.m. THREE IN THE AFTERNOON this shit happens? These kids should be going home to watch whatever bad cartoons are on and not witnessing their mother being kicked in the stomach by some random dude and his wife on a street corner.
