Two Guys Steal Homeless Man’s Car… wait a minute….

If home is where the heart is, can you ever really be homeless?

I mean, if you’re living and sleeping in your car, isn’t that technically your “home.”?

So, you’re not homeless, per se, you’re just really limited on where to put your sofa.

Two Monroe County men were arrested Saturday after they allegedly carjacked a homeless man who was living in his vehicle outside the Wal-Mart in East Stroudsburg.

Stroud Area Regional police say Matthew Katona, 19, of East Stroudsburg, and Heath Zachary, 43, of Stroudsburg, opened the door to the 1999 Dodge Stratus at 1:54 a.m. outside the store on Lincoln Avenue, assaulted the homeless man and stole the car.

At 10:30 a.m., the car was found behind 84 N. Second St. in Stroudsburg, and witnesses decribed the two men who had been seen inside the car earlier. Within 10 minutes, the suspects were found near the ShopRite on North Third Street, according to a news release.

That’s some good and productive car jacking, right there. You steal the car, go pretty much fucking nowhere with it, and then kinda mill around the same area you stole it from. Genius.

Anyway, hopefully this guy will be able to be reuinted with his home and not get fined or something for living out of his car, which I’m sure is going to happen soon…
