Police Seek Single Golden Toothed Bank Robber

Soooooo, more bank robberies. Seriously, is this the Wild West?

Well, for what it’s worth, this dude robbed the KNBT bank in Bethlehem today.

Yes, he has one tooth. Yes, it’s gold.

I guess Cash4Gold didn’t make him a good offer.

Bethlehem police have issued an arrest warrant for a Philadelphia man who allegedly robbed the KNBT at 920 W. Broad St. this morning.

Lloyd Virgil Barclay, 51, will be charged with robbery and related charges. Authorities allege he entered the bank about 9:20 this morning, said he had a gun and fled with an undetermined amount of cash, according to a news release from Lt. Joseph Kimock.

He is black, 5 feet 8 or 5 feet 9 inches tall with a single tooth, which is gold. He was carrying a purple backpack and wearing a Baltimore Ravens baseball hat.

No one was injured, but there were customers inside the bank when it was robbed, police said.

Police ask anyone with information about Barclay’s whereabouts to call Bethlehem police at 610-865-7187 or the law enforcement agency in the area where he is seen. Source

Why do all news reports include people’s middle names, too. Well, I guess I know the answer to that question, but it seems a little unneeded and could possibly confuse those who only know him by two names, instead of three.

Maybe it’s meant to make him seem more regal.

Eh, the chances of a one golden toothed dude getting that far are pretty slim, so…
