Lisa Boscola Rocks My Socks Off

So, the Bethlehem School District, under the steward of Super Joseph Lewis (who is getting the hell outta there ASAP), may have done some illegal stuff.

The illegal stuff has to do with some improper bond swapping for something or whatever about variable rates and stuff like taxes that went somewhere and some dude is like “What?” And then they ate ice cream.

The REAL point of this story is that I get to write about my favorite State Senator!!! LISA BOSCOLA, bitches!

State Sen. Lisa Boscola is asking the Pennsylvania auditor general to investigate the Bethlehem Area School District’s derivative ”swap” deals, which have cost taxpayers more than $57 million.

Boscola, D-Northampton, is calling on Auditor General Jack Wagner to launch an immediate audit and investigation ”to ensure that these swap deals were not done illegally.” The transactions were the subject of a recent four-part investigative series by The Morning Call.

”The taxpayers have a right to know what happened with their money in this unfortunate situation,” said Boscola, who attended Bethlehem public schools and lives in the district. ”Poor decisions were obviously made.”

Several school board members said they applaud Boscola for seeking an independent review of the district’s finances

The Morning Call investigation, published June 6-9, found that between 2003 and this year, Bethlehem Area conducted 17 swap transactions, the most of any school district in Pennsylvania. Those deals were supposed to save taxpayers money by using variable interest rate bonds as opposed to standard fixed-rate bonds. Source

Honestly? Whatever. I know that some people really give a shit about this stuff and get all fucking pissed off about where there tax money goes. I just shrug my shoulders and hope I can get a free hot dog from that guy on the southside for mentioning him again.

The more important item here is HOLY SHIT look at Lisa Boscola! What other state senator has the cajones to wear some sort of necklace scarf dog collar to a meeting? WHO? NO ONE, BITCHES!!!

She’s the woman’s woman. Seriously, every time I see her out on the town (her office is in downtown Bethlehem) I get all excited like I’m out with some local royalty. I guess this is because I’ve seen her in action a few times.

No…..not like that.

She’s a fucking pit bull and doesn’t pull punches, especially when dealing with local organizations/businesses/school districts that are supposed to be held accountable one way or another, but have tried to side-step said accountability.

She also looks fucking devastating in red.

Sure, she may be getting up there in age, but rumor has it the girl can drink like a fish and put many bikers to shame.

She also helped me get my license plate back once.
